Terms and Conditions for Barks Allowed Ltd – Dog Daycare Services
By enrolling your dog with Barks Allowed Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”), you (“the Owner”) agree to the following terms and conditions. These Terms comply with applicable UK legislation, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Animal Welfare Act 2006.
1. Eligibility for Attendance
All dogs must:
Be at least 12 weeks old.
Be fully vaccinated against Distemper, Parvovirus, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis and Bordetella (kennel cough).
Be in good physical health and free from contagious illnesses or parasites.
We recommend males to be neutered if over 12 months old (unless otherwise agreed).
Be microchipped, in accordance with UK law.
2. Behaviour and Safety
Dogs must be well-socialised and non-aggressive.
Barks Allowed Ltd reserves the right to refuse or remove any dog that poses a risk to staff, other dogs, or itself.
Owners are liable for any injury or damage caused by their dog while in our care.
3. Health and Veterinary Care
Owners must disclose any health issues, injuries, or medications.
In the event of illness or injury, we will make reasonable efforts to contact the Owner or designated emergency contact.
If necessary, we will seek veterinary treatment. Owners are liable for all resulting costs.
Barks Allowed Ltd is not responsible for pre-existing conditions or adverse reactions to normal daycare activities.
4. Drop-Off and Collection
Operating hours are 7:30am - 6pm Monday - Friday
Late collection beyond agreed hours may incur additional fees.
Uncollected dogs may be transferred to a local boarding kennel or reported to local authorities if not collected within 2 hours past closing.
5. Fees and Payment
All fees must be paid in advance or on the day of service.
Prices are listed on our website or available upon request.
We reserve the right to adjust pricing with 14 days' notice.
6. Cancellations and No-Shows
At least 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations.
No-shows or late cancellations may be charged in full.
7. Liability
While we take every precaution to ensure the safety of your dog, attendance is at the Owner’s own risk.
Barks Allowed Ltd accepts no liability for loss, injury, illness, or death unless caused by our proven negligence.
Owners are responsible for any damages caused by their dog to our property or others.
8. Photos and Media
We may take photographs or videos of dogs in our care for promotional purposes.
If you do not wish your dog to be included, you must notify us.
9. Personal Data
We handle personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

10. Amendments
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated via email or published on our website.
Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
